The Sediment Pre-Filter Cartridge is a potential alternative to carbon pre-treatment (if the feed water doesn't contain chlorine) for the Pentair PRF-RO System, as the sediment cartridge may be used to pre-treat the feed water to remove impurities including sediment in order to protect the RO membranes.
About the PRF-RO System (available separately)
The PRF-RO Reverse Osmosis system is an integrated water treatment system with on-demand, continuous flow that does not require a storage tank operates without the requirement for a pump or electricity. This PRF-RO system features a consistent membrane efficiency and a high recovery. Moreover, it has a high impact plastic construction and compact and sleek styling.
The system includes replaceable filters and membrane elements. The prefilter reduces sand, silt, dirt, rust particles, other sediments, and chlorine from the water supply before they enter the RO membrane elements. The postfilter reduces any tastes and/or odors that may remain in the water after passing through the RO membrane elements.
ADDITIONAL FEATURES
- The Sediment 10 micron Pre-Filter Cartridge should be replaced every 6 months depending on the quality of your water and how much your system is being utilised.
