KEY FEATURES
  • Suitable for wide range of industrial water treatment related applications
  • High recovery and low footprint due to optimised membrane area
  • High strength PVDF membrane ensures consistently superior filtrate quality

The PPS Ultrafiltration (UF) modules are recommended as a suitable substitute to the the popular Hydranautics HYDRAcap® MAX UF modules which unfortunately are no longer available, due to supply chain related issues with the manufacturer. As a result Parkway Process Solutions (PPS) embarked on a systematic process to identify, evaluate and qualify an alternative UF module option (suitable replacement for the Hydranautics HYDRAcap® MAX UF modules), to ensure we can continue to supply and support our significant customer base, which rely on PPS to keep them operating.

Parkway Process Solutions (PPS) is an established industrial water treatment company, ISO Certified (including for Quality, ISO 9001) and experienced in providing a range of high quality integrated water treatment solutions.

The PPS Ultrafiltration (UF) modules preserve all the key features of the Hydranautics HYDRAcap® MAX UF modules, including the durable PVDF hollow fibre membranes, high chemical resistance, with the added benefit that the replacement PPS UF modules are easy to retrofit to existing UF systems designed for the HYDRAcap® MAX UF modules, without the need for any pipe modifications

The pressurized hollow fiber modules are suitable for a wide range of applications as either final treatment or as pretreatment to reverse osmosis (RO) and nanofiltration (NF) systems.

Like the HYDRAcap® MAX UF modules, the PPS UF modules achieve high recovery and low footprint due to their optimized membrane area and novel cleaning regimes. High strength PVDF membrane minimises fibre breakage rate and ensures consistently superior filtrate quality. This enables RO and NF systems to be operated at higher fluxes while maintaining longer intervals between cleanings. Similarly, no backwash pump is required for HYDRAcap® MAX systems, or the replacement PPS UF modules. Physical cleaning is performed with air scouring.

ADDITIONAL FEATURES
  • No backwash pump is required
  • High strength PVDF membrane minimises fibre breakage rate
  • High tolerance to varying influent quality
  • Reduced pre-treatment requirements, due to outside-in flow profile
  • Energy savings due to low operating pressures (typically <3 bar)
  • Standard PPS UF models, allow for easy retrofits, without the need for additional fittings or modifications to pipework.
  • NSF certified UF modules

APPLICATIONS
  • Commonly used in a range of commercial water treatment systems, including in industrial or municipal waste water, sea water, surface water and ground water related applications.
