The HR60 UV Disinfection System is a proven design for the reliable, efficient and cost-effective disinfection of water, without the requirement for process heat or dangerous chemicals. The HR60 UV Disinfection System uses 254nm germicidal ultra violet (UV) light to quickly and reliably disable bacteria, viruses and other micro organisms present in common water supplies. UV disinfection systems are a desirable form of water disinfection, as they do not do not leave residual taste or odour in treated water.
It should be noted that the rated flow rate of 3.8 LPM is based on delivering an effective UV dosage of >30 mJ/cm² @ UVT.
