The Vanguard G5 EX PAPR Pre-Filter (PRF-G5ATX-PF) is a replacement filtration accessory designed specifically for the Vanguard G5 EX Powered Air Purifying Respirator system. Positioned ahead of the main filter, the pre-filter captures larger debris and airborne particles before they enter the primary filtration stage.

By reducing the amount of coarse particulate reaching the main filter, the PRF-G5ATX-PF helps extend the service life of compatible P3 particulate and combined gas/vapour filters while maintaining efficient system operation and reducing filter replacement costs.

The pre-filter must always be used together with an approved Vanguard G5 EX particle or combined filter. It should be inspected regularly and replaced when dirty, wet, damaged or clogged. Pre-filters must not be cleaned by tapping, blowing compressed air through them or other cleaning methods.
