Flocon® 260 is a high-performance, multifunctional antiscalant designed to protect membrane systems used in Reverse Osmosis (RO), Nanofiltration (NF), and Electrodialysis Reversal (EDR) applications. Manufactured by Italmatch Chemicals, Flocon® 260 effectively prevents scale formation and disperses metal oxides, ensuring optimal membrane efficiency, extended membrane life, and reduced operating costs.

This pale yellow, water-miscible liquid is highly effective against challenging scale types, including silica, calcium carbonate, barium sulphate, and calcium phosphate. Flocon® 260 is compatible with all major membrane manufacturers and is ANSI/NSF Standard 60 certified, making it suitable for potable water treatment applications

APPLICATIONS

Flocon® 260 is ideally suited for use in a wide range of membrane-based water treatment systems, including: Reverse Osmosis (RO) plants, Nanofiltration (NF) systems, Electrodialysis Reversal (EDR) systems, Municipal drinking water treatment,Industrial process water treatment and Desalination and brackish water systems.

The product is stable in the presence of chlorine and oxidising biocides and is typically dosed continuously into feedwater downstream of filtration equipment. Its proven formulation supports reliable membrane system performance across a wide range of industrial and municipal water treatment processes
